Manners of using camper van
When using a camper van, please understand and observe the following manners to enjoy safe and comfortable motor home camping:
Manners at public parking lot
1.Do not stay in a public parking lot for a long time.
Service areas and parking areas of the Michi-no-Eki and expressways are not accommodation facilities. Take a nap only for the minimum necessary duration and refrain from staying for two or more nights in a row or over a long period of time.
Use a caravan site or RV park.
2.Camping is prohibited in a public parking lot.
Camping, such as bringing out chairs, tables, and burners, is prohibited in the service areas and parking areas of the Michi-no-Eki or other public facilities. In addition, give consideration to people around you and refrain from talking loudly or making noise in the early morning and at night.
3.Do not use a public power source without permission.
Do not connect the camper van to a public power source without permission. At a camp facility, use the power source you are officially permitted to use.
4.Do not dump trash illegally.
Do not throw away the trash that has come out while traveling into a trash can you happen to find. Basically, make it a rule to bring trash home.
5.Pay attention during any rendevous!
When you and your friends get together in a parking lot for meeting, behave properly so that the other users do not misunderstand that you are illegally occupying the parking lot.
6.Do not park in a space with a wheelchair symbol.
Do not park your vehicle if only healthy people are riding in it in a parking space with a wheelchair symbol at the Michi-no-Eki, service area, or parking area.
7.Refrain from unnecessary idling.
Emission of exhaust gas and noise stemming from unnecessary idling has an adverse impact, such as air pollution and global warming. Make it a rule to stop the engine. Drive ecologically.
Manners at campsite
1.Do not go on a spree at night.
You are not the sole users of the campsite. Many campsites demand that you be quiet at night. Follow the rules.
2.Do not leave children unattended.
any large-sized vehicles go in and out of a caravan site in the peak season, which is very dangerous. If a child gets out of a marked-off area, other users may be bothered. Parents are requested to pay utmost attention to their children.
3.Properly dispose of garbage.
At a campsite where garbage is collected, separate garbage into specified types and dump it in the specified place. Dispose of waste charcoal following the instructions at each facility. Leaving garbage and charcoal in a marked-off area is strictly prohibited. Bring many garbage bags and vinyl bags. They will be useful in addition to collecting garbage. Bring garbage back from a campsite where garbage is not collected. Do not throw away the garbage in a service area or parking lot. The fundamental of camping is “Make it more beautiful that when you came.” Thank you.
