Notes on the equipment
Vehicle size
Height of the vehicle
The height of the vehicle is 228 cm.
Before passing below aerial wiring or through a tunnel, be sure to confirm the clearance.
This is the No. 1 cause of accidents. The danger will mount when you get used to driving the vehicle.
Width of the vehicle
The width also calls for your attention.
Width: 195 cm, Length: 538 cm
Notes during driving
Side wind
Because of the height and shape of the vehicle, the vehicle is likely to catch crosswinds. Be careful when driving in strong winds or passing over a large bridge.
The vehicle may turn over!
Center of gravity of the vehicle
Do not turn the steering wheel abruptly or suddenly slam on the brakes because the center of gravity is higher than that of a passenger car!!
The vehicle may turn over!
Locks during driving
Before driving, confirm that the external cable is in the storage, the drawers and storage spaces are locked, and the load is firmly secured.
Description of exterior equipment
Automatic sliding door (with easy closer)
FF heater exhaust port
*Note that the exhaust gas flows backward if the exhaust gas outlet was clogged by snow.
*Do not open the window near the exhaust gas outlet when using the FF heater.
External 100-V power supply input
Use an exclusive cable.
The power supply can be charged from a household wall outlet.
Fuel inlet positio
The fuel inlet is at the assistant driver’s seat side.
Entrance and sub-battery
Entrance
Take off your shoes inside the vehicle.
Sub-battery power supply/checking of remaining capacity
- Notes on management of sub-battery power supply
-
- Power supplied from the sub-battery is centrally controlled by the main switch.
- When the main switch is turned off, all the equipment of the camper van cannot be used.
*The FF heater can be used regardless of whether the main switch is turned on or off.
Be sure to turn off the main switch when you leave the vehicle.
Forgetting to turn off the power causes the battery to die or an unexpected accident.
Note, however, that the refrigerator is also turned off when the main switch is turned off. - How to check the remaining capacity of the sub-battery
-
The remaining capacity of the batteries can be checked with the meter shown in 〇 and the battery switch in 〇 in the photograph below.
Battery switch
B1: Sub-battery remaining capacity
B2: Main battery remaining capacity
Meter indication
E: Empty
F: Full
C: Charging*The battery remaining capacity meter is for reference only.
- Because the battery cannot be fully charged by driving the vehicle, it is advisable to connect an external power supply from a power supply facility before using the camper van.
- When the voltage of the sub-battery drops to 10.5 V or lower, the controller issues an alarm sound, warning of excessive discharging.
When the warning sound is issued, start the main engine or connect the sub-battery to external power supply equipment to charge it.
When the voltage of the sub-battery drops to 10.0 V or lower, charging the sub-battery by driving is stopped for your safety.
If this happens, charge the sub-battery with an external power supply.
Power switches and switches
Main switch (main power)
(In front of the entrance, at the lower part of the sink)
Intensive control of the power supplied from the sub-battery
Turn on this switch first to use the interior equipment.
Main switch → Intensive switch → Switch of piece of equipment
Intensive switch (on the left of the main switch)
Top: To supply power to each illumination appliance
Middle: To supply power to the water line pump
Bottom: To supply power to the DC socket
DC socket
This switch cannot be used unless the main switch and intensive switch (i) are turned on.
100 ACV outlet (at the lower left part of the refrigerator)
This can be used only when an external 100 V power supply is connected.
The capacity of this outlet is not as high as that of a household wall outlet. Therefore, the circuit breaker may trip if two or more electric appliances, such as a hair dryer, are used at the same time.
Connecting external 100 V power supply
When an external 100 V power supply is connected, the lamp above the outlet lights in orange. If it does not light, check the cable for the connection or the circuit breaker.
*When the lamp remains dark, it means that the battery has not been fully charged!
Position of the circuit breaker
The breakers are installed in the rear part of the driver’s seat and below the rear bed.
Description of breaker positions
If any of the accessories cannot be used, check the circuit breaker.
If the lamp does not light even when the breaker is turned on, the chances are that the breaker of the power supply equipment at the campsite is down. Ask the manager of the campsite to check the power supply equipment.
FF heater
This heater is installed on the right side of the main switch.
It can be used even when the main switch is not turned on.
Conversely, it is not turned off even when the main switch is turned off. So, do not forget to turn the heater off!!
Illumination equipment
Each light can be used by turning on the main switch, intensive switch, and the switch of the light.
An independent switch is provided for each light.
Rear heater
The rear heater is interlocked with the air conditioner/heater at the driver’s seat.
It can be used when the engine is on.
It stops when the engine is off.
Refrigerator (below the sink)
The refrigerator can be used when the main switch is on.
Note that the refrigerator is turned off when the main switch is turned OFF.
Turning the dial clockwise
OFF → ON → Refrigeration → Maximum position: Freezer function available
Generation of dew and mold can be prevented by opening the door and ventilating after using the refrigerator.

Kitchen & plumbing
Plumbing
Water can be used by turning on the water line pump switch.
Water line pump switch
After filling the water supply tank, turn on the water line pump switch at the lower part of the sink.
It is recommended to turn on this switch only when using the water line.
*If the pump switch is turned on before the water supply tank is filled, the pump may malfunction.
Water supply tank
1. A water supply tank and wastewater tank are installed below the sink.
Left: Water supply tank (capacity: 19 liters)
Right: Wastewater tank (capacity: 19 liters)
Pour water into the water supply tank on the left.
2. The water line can be used by turning the main switch and pump switch on after filling the water supply tank.
– Turning on the pump switch before filling the tank with water may cause the pump to malfunction.
– Do not flush leftovers and solid matter into the sink. The sink may be clogged and malfunction.
– As the water supply and wastewater tanks have the same capacity, empty the wastewater tank when supplying additional water to the water supply tank.
*Do not drink water from the tanks.
*When the rental period expires, discharge water from both tanks and clean them to restore them to the original condition before returning the vehicle to J-net Rent a Car.
